Inside The Beatis the third full album from Partition 36, and the sixth release overall. The album is a fusion of multiple electronic music genres including synthpop, trance, downtempo, ambient, and EBM.

Track eight, Cyberpunks, was originally written for the collaboration CD Emergent Collective One. It includes a vocal segment that was derived from an online text called The Cyberpunk Manifesto. This song was then remixed into an energetic dance track, the “Anti-System Mix”, just for this album.
